Though everything else seems to push them apart, one thing draws them together : An insatiable curiousity ! Bodies that stretch and twist, a pole that refuses to remain vertical, balls defying the principals of physics, a shy diabolo provide the means and motivation for their encounter. At first playful and almost too naive, the characters' interactions intensify, and limits are crossed. The body's limits, and those of the heart... The unusual brotherhood of this quartet questions us : What does each think of the others' failings, and how does he come to terms with his own ? With an acrobatic tenderness, the four create their own outlines, disassemble, recreate … and fly off … It's all remarkably... Curieux ! Stage must be flat and level, with black dance floor (Marley) covering the entire stage. What is there beyond? What traces do we decide to leave behind, when life is fading away. How can we go in peace? In the West, we cultivate a fear for everything which relates to death. Yet, many civilizations see death as a stage, a passage. An opening to other worlds. This show talks about the passage from life to death and invents an afterlife. It does not impose this as a truth. It is the beyond which we dream of, one that could be. We use our imagination to propose a poetic alternative facing all the negative feelings society gives death. It's because we love life we want to address the theme of death as an essential step, rather than an ending. We want to respond to the seriousness of this subject with lightness and tenderness. We are short-lived travellers, jugglers of emotions, friends of time. Life is a cycle, flowing our days, we are passengers. To die is a new start... As there are many in our existence.
